Brett Favre

I love the guy and always have. The man gave the Green Bay Packers and their fans some of the greatest moments in franchise history, but this has got to stop.
He's been the consumate professional on and off the field. He's been a team player since his arrival in Green Bay. What changed? Is it Ted Thompson? An ego thing? Mike McCarthy? Whatever it is, enough is enough. The Packers have moved on, why can he? It's not fair to the organization, it's not fair to the team (see earlier sentence), it's certainly not fair to Aaron Rodgers, and it's definitely not fair to his fans. Actually what it's doing is putting Packer fans against Packer fans. Some want him back, some don't want him back, and some don't care. Your time is up Brett, move on.

While I am not as passionate about all of this as you guys are, I strongly believe the Pack should let him go do what he has to do if he doesn't fit in there anymore. Whatever did or did not transpire is not relevant any more. He decided to come back, good or bad, let him go where he wants to continue his career. While I believe it is a mistake for him to continue, he should have let well enough alone, he has not. So, Green Bay, let him go and move on as you say you have.
